Flamenco is a musical and expressive art from Spain, but it is enjoyed and performed all over the world. We bring it to you here in Bucks County in hopes that it will thrill and inspire you as it does us. For those with or without Hispanic heritage it is a way to express the fundamentals of what uniqueness exists inside each of us.
Dos Lunas Flamenco is centered in New Hope, PA and brings music and dance all over Bucks County and the surrounding area, giving communities the chance to see something that for many requires a trip into a great metropolis, parking fees, and significant planning ahead. Part of our mission is to bring flamenco close to home, in small venues, the way traditional flamenco has been experienced since the 19th century. Our location allows us to travel to cities and towns throughout eastern Pennsylvania and New Jersey to perform, and it gives us the opportunity to work regularly with flamenco artists from Philadelphia and NYC.
Creativity, energy, and collaboration are also fundamentals of our mission as performing artists, and working with new artists in new ways is one of the best parts of what we do. We extend our art to the community and hope to continue engaging with the artists that also share in the place we live.
